Wrap up: Second Annual Broadway Concert

Lights! Camera! Action! Oh, we had it all. From the 1930s to the 2010s. From Europe to St. Louis to Neverland. From opera to swing to modern. From satin and lace and sequins to . . . leather. Yeah. Well. It was a hit from every era and every genre. The Children’s Choir members were show-stoppers with songs like When She Loved Me from Toy Story 2 and Bop to the Top from High School Musical. Sometimes beautifully touching, sometimes funny and fun. The C3 members grabbed us with What You Mean to Me from Finding Neverland, Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again from Phantom of the Opera, Hello Dolly (with trumpet, no less) from Hello Dolly, and Broadway Baby from the Follies. Probably the show’s most exciting number was La Vida Loca from Shrek.  All that leather. Hm. A mix of the groups had numbers like Do-Re-Mi from the Sound of Music and I Know It’s Today from Shrek the Musical. Circle City Singers dug into the 1940s and swing with Singin’ In the Rain and Embraceable You. The Circle City Childen’s Choir’s medley from Annie was awesome. The full Circle City Chorale came together for the rousing medley from Guys and Dolls.

Thank you so much to our loyal fans. What wonderfully appreciative audiences you were. You are the reason we love to sing our hearts out. Just wait until you see what’s on the marquees for next year!
